Level 1: Get to Know Your Vehicle
In Level 1, our teen drivers learn the proper ways to steer and control the vehicle from experienced professionals. This part of the teenage driving course focuses on the use of eyes and implementation of physical motor skills.
Level 2: Dealing With Outside Influences
During Level 2, students learn how to deal with traffic and the potential threat of other drivers. Our staff teaches proper traffic skills and defensive driving techniques concerning a wide range of things, such as potential hazards, pedestrians, intersections, and the rules of the road.
Level 3: Preparing for the State Test
Level 3 of the Sunrise Driving School teenage driving course prepares drivers in the Northwest suburbs of Illinois for the state driving test. Our instructors teach students how to do approved backing, parking, and turnaround maneuvers you're expected to be able to do in order to receive your license.
Level 4: Leveling Up
Level 4 is when drivers really start to feel comfortable on the road. Here we cover advanced maneuvers, multi-lane roads, expressways, and how to deal with heavy traffic situations.
Level 5: Becoming a Productive Driver
When students reach level 5 of the teenage driving course, they are well on their way to becoming a productive driver. At this point, students will receive overall instruction, as well as being ran through a simulation for the coming state road test.
