Our 5-Level Program for Students Learning To Drive
We understand that throwing loads of information at first time drivers can be overwhelming. However, at Sunrise Driving School that’s not how we do things. Our lessons are split up into five different parts. With our step by step training, you can feel confident you’re gaining valuable driving information at a pace you can easily keep up with. Our 5-level program lets you attain new skills as you go along.
Level One: Getting Started With The Basics
You will learn how to properly steer and control a vehicle. We’ll teach you how to use your eyes and develop the physical motor skills necessary for safe driving. With the proper steps to getting our students to have the proper mindset of being a Driver, they’ll feel confident about driving any road, starting in Illinois.
Level Two: Learning to Navigate Traffic, Hazards, Pedestrians
We educate our students on defensive driving techniques concerning potential hazards with vehicles, pedestrians, and intersections. Traffic skills are essential since you likely have to travel at all times of the day. The rules of the road are taught at a pace everyone can understand.
Level Three: The Road to Parking
Knowing how to back up properly, park, turn around, and maneuver are all taught and expected on the state road test. We teach students how to use the resources around them, such as the rearview and side mirrors, along with utilizing overall vision such as with parallel parking. Stearing your way around a crowded parking lot, and backing up without the fear of hitting a person or another vehicle.
Level Four: Feeling Confident in Faster Traffic
The reality is you can’t take the backroads forever just because you feel more comfortable on a small street. Our training provides our students with the tools needed to be confident driving in heavy traffic while driving on multi-lane roads or expressways, whether traveling in one lane or changing to another.
Level Five: Getting Ready for Road Test
When reaching level five, our students will cover the overall instruction of how to drive properly. They’ll also be shown the required maneuvers they’ll need to know on any road test in Illinois.
